Arcata Elementary Preschool is a fee-based program that serves children 2.5 - 5 years old students as part of the Arcata School District. The preschool offers a blend of play, social emotional development, and academic readiness.

The Arcata Preschool Program will close June 2023.  
 
With the expansion of Transitional Kindergarten to include children turning 4 by September 2, the Arcata School District will no longer be providing preschool services through the Arcata Elementary Preschool Program. For children who now meet the age requirement for Transitional Kindergarten (TK), please contact the Arcata School District to enroll your child at Arcata Elementary School.
