Enrollment Process

To enroll your child in Arcata Elementary Preschool...

ARE you on the wait list?? (see below)

  1. Set up a time to visit the Program
  2. Pick up Information packet or Enrollment packet (depending on if your child will be starting soon)
  3. Fill out ALL enrollment paperwork
  4. Return paperwork to the center
  5. Pay Registration Fee ($35)
  6.  If using Changing Tides or Voucher program: enroll or contact that agency. This must be done before we can set up a start date, tuition will be private paid  or delay in start day (which could end up losing a slot all together)
  7. Set up a time to visit the site with your child
  8. Wait for a slot to open (typically summer or Fall)
  9.  Sign contract and set up start date
  10.  Pay tuition (due on first day).

Birth date:
Potential schedule request (see schedules page)
Desired start date
Phone number(s) to best reach you.
Email Address
***Families on the waiting list will be called when a space becomes available.

Enrolled families typically stay for the entire "school year" (August
to June), while most stay till Kindergarten starts in August/September.
